Summer Beef Burger


1 Red onion thinly sliced

2 tablespoons white wine vinegar

1/3 cup mayonnaise

2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon tomato sauce

4 angel bay beef burger patties

4 slices of tasty cheese

4 brioche burger buns, sliced in half, toasted

4 iceberg lettuce leaves, shredded

125g beetroot slices, drained

12 pickle slices, drained



1. Combine the onion and vinegar in a small bowl. Set aside for 10 minutes. Drain.

2. Meanwhile combine mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce and tomato sauce in a small bowl.

3. Heat a large fry pan over high heat. Cook burger patties for 4-5 minutes one side and 3 minutes the other. Top each patty with cheese and cook for a further 2 minutes.

4. Divide the bun bases among serving plates. Spread with mayonnaise mixture. Top with lettuce, burger patties, beetroot onion and pickles. Top with the top half of the burger buns.
