Midwest Foods is your local wholesale food distributor in Dubbo, central west NSW. Our customers are located across nearly 1/4 of the state and our business is 100% locally owned and operated but we are still small enough to give you that personal touch. Our huge range of products includes frozen, fresh and general grocery items as well as packaging and cleaning products. Our warehouse shop is open to the public for your convenience 6 days a week.
In addition to simply selling the products, Midwest Foods strives to provide entire foodservice solutions to customers.
We have full time sales representatives on the road (covering over ¼ of NSW!), talking directly to customers about our products and services- offering solutions, demonstrating product benefits, setting pricing structures and explaining promotional programs amongst other things. All our sales reps are very well informed about what is happening in their sales area, and are aware of new business opportunities well in advance. This means we can be actively involved with the business before they are even open, or before a new chef has started, helping with menu choices, pricing, product information etc. By building the relationship from the outset, we are able to grow our business, as well as using our knowledge to help the customer grow their business.
When it comes to judging suitability of a new product in the marketplace, we work closely with our suppliers and manufacturers. After receiving training from the supplier regarding the features and benefits of the product, we take it into the marketplace to determine its potential. The variety of new products we have introduced to the market is a key reason our customers stick with us.
